AJA!
Due to the loadful and (toxicity) of school work I had to endure for the past year and 1 semester, I decided to keep things to a low just so I can still manage not to reach my ‘breaking point’
However, to make things life twisted, I was given the inevitable task of heading the Communications Committee for the upcoming IT Congress in March, considering ‘my experience’ as one of the members of the organizing team last year.
Not that I am doubting my capabilities as a leader, this would be, so far, the biggest reponsibility laid down before me in my entire life in the academe. Truth be told, I’ve never handled a ship, more so, a yacht, and yet I’ve no choice but to face the cold, harsh waves.
To put it plainly: I AM ANXIOUS.
Anxious-nervous because we have to set sail through unknown waters.
After extending my grief/fears through tweets and shout-outs, I was overwhelmed after discovering that everyone is willing to extend their helping hands to make such event possible for all of us. Thus, making me anxious-excited since it will be our second round (major involvement this time) in participating in the said event. Which means, we get to enjoy a good amount of authority over the lower years and another certificate to add into our CVs.
Thus, I shall make it a point to bring the best out of myself and my teammates in making another remarkable IT Congress history, specifically manned by us, IT601.
